| Catechist | Regular commitment as lead teacher for assigned class; Training
and guidance provided. Commitment to full year of 14 classes required. 45-50 catechists needed each year. |
| Classroom Aide | Assist lead catechist with activities in classrooms
for younger grades. Commitment to a full year of 14 classes preferred but not required. |
| Hallway Duty | Building security while classes are in
session is of paramount concern to us. Volunteers are stationed in the hallway/office at all times during classes. |
| Substitutes | Called upon periodically during the year to lead
class when the catechist is unable to come in. Lesson plan provided. Very flexible commitment. |
| Private Tutor | Needed to work one-on-one with
children needing to catch up on missed years of religious education. Very flexible scheduling
and time commitment. Training and guidance provided. |
| Parent Advisory Board | Evening meetings 4 times per year. |
| Mission Committee | Assist with mission Advent and Lenten
collections, such as Operation Rice Bowl. |
| Event Help | Called upon periodically during the year to help with
special events such as retreat days, class reconciliation days, sacrament rehearsals and ceremonies, etc. |
