Children's Liturgy of the Word
We celebrate Liturgy of the Word with Children beginning late September through April at our regularly
scheduled 10:30 a.m. Sunday Liturgy.
Children in Kindergarten through grade 3 are called to the front of the Sanctuary then processed
out in the Church Atrium and Sacristy where the readings are presented and explained on their level
by trained volunteers. The children then return to their families after the General
Intercession (Prayers of the Faithful).
Registration is not required for a child to participate. This program runs 7 months a year. For more
information or to be a volunteer please contact the Religious Education office for more
information.
For Children in Grades 4 to 8
Children in grades 4 - 8 have the opportunity to be trained to serve as Junior Lectors,
Gift Bearers and Ushers at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Registration and attendance at practices is required.
