The Staff at Saint Therese
Mrs. Lori Tumminello, Director of Religious Education
Lori Tumminello joined the parish staff as Director of Religious Education in August 2007. She
holds a Certificate in Religious Education from the College of Saint Elizabeth. Lori volunteered for
many years as a CCD teacher and was involved in developing our Children’s Liturgy program for grades
3-8. She previously served as a member of the Liturgy Committee and the Religious Education Advisory
Board and currently serves as an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. Lori and her husband,
John, have been parishioners at St. Therese since 1994. They have two young daughters who currently
attend the religious education program at St. Therese.
Religious Education Director: Plans, promotes and directs a formal religious education ministry for
parish public school children in grades 1-8, with a growing enrollment of more than 600 students.
Also responsible for parish and school sacrament program for First Reconciliation and First Communion.
